BSc. Exercise Physiology (Hons. Class 1), AEP, AES, ESSAM.
It was an early involvement in sports and passion for helping others that led Meg down the path of becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Joining Healthmarq in 2018, Meg has extensive experience in musculoskeletal, psychological and neurological conditions, and has also had the opportunity to work extensively in regional and remote areas. It is Meg’s exceptional attention to detail and pride in her work that made her the perfect candidate to firstly take over as a Team Leader and secondly lead Healthmarq’s expansion into South Australia. Meg challenges her clients and team to improve every day and it’s clear to see that her clients and team have thrived through working with her.
Meg is most passionate about the mental health sector. Having seen the benefits of regular physical activity in her own life, she is inspired to help others understand and gain the same benefits. Meg strives to help break down stigmas associated with mental health and provide a safe and supportive environment for her clients to grow within. While admitting that it can be a challenging space to work in, Meg understands just how rewarding it can be.
When not at work, you’ll find Meg exploring a new waterfall or hiking trail, relaxing with a good book or volunteering at animal shelters.
